During our sessions we help give children an introduction to mindfulness and meditation that will help them flourish in class, connect with their families, and succeed with their friends. Please join us for our community mindfulness meditation. The open sitting group will include both discussion and led practice as well as time for stillness and active practice that lasts 30-45 minutes. This will be a recurring (and free) mindfulness group for community members who wish to develop or deepen mindfulness and meditation skills and participate in Peak Brain's new meditation community. Through games and meditative practices, children will learn self-regulation tools that help manage anger, fear and stress and promote attentiveness, empathy and social/emotional intelligence.
